Once again, it’s time for the yearly Lonnie pilgrimage to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  Why the destination sounds pleasant, the 10 hours in a car to get there is less than appealing.  We are trying to break up the trip by staying at a Comfort Inn along the Virginia Coast.  Hopefully, this goes better than last year’s debacle in Virginia City.  That high rise hotel was tons of fun for the boys and a nightmare for their parents.

In any event, I’m sure I will enjoy it or at least recall it fondly.

Wish me luck.  I’m going to need it!

Hell, I qualify as the dad of two severely autistic boys.  Looks like a good time.  I could be like the guy on the right, sticking out like a sore thumb.  Anyway the link takes you to a charity event the NYSE held last night for Autism Speaks.
